Passing through the torii gate of Aoyama Kumano Shrine, a beloved Edo landmark since its founding in 1619, and experiencing the overwhelming presence of the 1655 Meireki Stone Buddha Tower within the grounds of Kotoku-ji Temple, founded in 1579, the silent memories that this land has protected are vividly resurrected through all five senses. On this street corner, where the functional beauty of the Brazilian Embassy, ​​the pinnacle of modern architecture, coexists with the ancient appearance of Kaizo-ji Temple, which continues its 1680 tradition, each step brings a sense of dizziness, as if stepping across a fault line in time. The quiet mercy of the Six Jizo statues nestled in the cracks of the asphalt, and the tranquil atmosphere emanating from a gravestone dating back to 1909 left abandoned in the heart of the city. Moments that make you want to quietly pray through the screen are certainly etched in the trajectory of this journey. The breathing of stones that have survived for hundreds of years, living in the crevices of a sophisticated city. At that boundary, you will find a moment when your heart deeply resonates with the soul of the land, and you will surely find a certain blessing.
