Kudumbashree Mission, launched by the Kerala government in 1998, is a women-centric poverty eradication and empowerment program, operating under the Local Self Government Department. Its name, meaning "prosperity of the family", reflects its goal to uplift families through a three-tier community network: Neighborhood Groups (NHGs) at the grassroots, Area Development Societies (ADS) at the ward level, and Community Development Societies (CDS) at the local government level
Auxiliary Scheme targets young women aged 18–40 in Kerala, offering a platform for skill development, entrepreneurship, and community engagement through Auxiliary Groups.
