Scream (1996) R vs NC17 versions - What is the difference?

Here is a comparison I made between the NC17/unrated director's cut of Scream released on Laserdisc in 1997 (pictured at the top) and the R rated theatrical release (pictured at the bottom) otherwise available. I followed the continuity of the expanded versions of scenes in this comparison, rearranging shots from the theatrical release when necessary to show what footage is in both versions of the film. Lengthened shots from the theatrical version have been trimmed back for this comparison (they were altered to cover what appears to be last minute changes to appease the MPAA), but the audio is all from the Laserdisc. Some alternate shots can be seen in this comparison, and there are a few instances where I repeated shot comparisons in slow motion.
