Just like 2025, we're kicking the year off with a weekend at east. My tires were pretty dead, so no PBs in sight. The plan was to make my tires last the 2 days somehow. What I didn't plan for was a damage-to-car PB. No big deal though -- some duct tape, a few zip ties, remounted a wheel, and I was good to go. Car's a tank and my confidence wasn't shaken. Good learnings from it.

Tires got so bad that even T7 was giving me trouble, and pretty much every corner had drama. At least with the cool weather, I didn't ruin a tire until the very last session on Sunday. I'm done with RE71RS forever, and RE71RZ don't interest me for now. My next set will be P1s because Nankang couldn't figure out how to properly stock CRS.

A couple other issues: my OBDLink CX stopped working, so I'll need a new dongle soon. Also, my AIM completely died on Saturday, so I had no data for a couple sessions. I was afraid it was broken, but it just ran out of power. Apparently, I accidentally pulled the ground wire of the CAN connection, so it wasn't feeding power to the unit. It was an easy fix.

Car will be at the shop for a while for suspension rebuild, and uhh some repairs. The duct tape isn't holding the ripped underbody panels very well (or at all), and my rear diffuser is barely connected to the bumper cover. Also, my exhaust took quite a beating, so not sure if there's anything there that could be a problem. Next event will likely be Sonoma end of Feb, so I have plenty of time to sort things out.
