Take 3.
A cover of this awesome Squarepusher track. I was messing around with the main sequence in the Microbrute, and from there it just all came together... The JX-8P is doing the pad sound and bass and is sequenced by the computer, as well as the MB33, which is doing the acid line in the outro (acid lines are a pain in the ass to copy). Both are running as loops and im muting and un-muting them as i go.
This is not supposed to be an exact copy, though i was trying to capture the most important moments of the track. I know the main sequence could have been more acidy, i know the characteristic snare sounds are missing and i know the bassline is a bit different, but i do think the essence of the track has been preserved, and i had lots of fun covering it.
All sounds heard in the video are generated live, no overdubs.
