Tie-dye pattern : Valentine's Bursting Heart & Polka Dots Spine!

Today I am demonstrating how to tie-dye a Valentine's Bursting Heart & Polka Dots Spine pattern on a t-shirt using liquid procion dyes. This is a step by step tie-dye tutorial video where I cover the entire process beginning with the folding and drawing of the heart outline on the shirt using a washable marker. After that I pleat fold and I tie off the heart using sinew, and then pleat fold the opposite side of the shirt to create the spine pattern. Next I bind the spine with rubber bands and apply the liquid procion dyes to the t-shirt. To finish up I let the shirt sit undisturbed for 24 hours, give it a good rinse, and jump right on into the reveal our new tie-dye Valentine's Heart & Polka Dots Spine t-shirt.
