Keratoconus is a common eye condition that affects the cornea – the front window of the eye.
In most cases, keratoconus appears between the ages of 16 and 30 years. Due to its early onset, it can impact school, work, social and family life if it’s not treated – and can often result in requiring a corneal transplant.
Join experts Professor Mark Daniell, Associate Professor Elaine Chong and Dr Srujana Sahebjada from the Centre for Eye Research Australia, Professor Paul Baird from the University of Melbourne and Professor Vishal Jhanji from the University of Pittsburgh as they discuss the current research and treatment being completed for keratoconus.
