Module 2 Overview
In this module, you will learn how to solve systems of linear equations. These occur in countless engineering applications ranging from solid mechanics and fluid dynamics to machine learning. We will use the methods and algorithms developed in this module throughout the semester.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this module, you will be able to:
2.1 - Code a Gauss-Jordan solution function with partial pivoting.
2.2 - Solve linear systems using Gauss-Jordan with partial pivoting.
2.3 - Calculate vector and array norms and the condition number of matrices using self-coded functions.
