The Storytelling Academy is a 3-year intensive course in the Art of Storytelling in which students learn to collect, create, and share stories. Each year consists of 70 hours of coursework, including instruction from multiple international professional storytellers, individual and group exercises, student performances, self-evaluation, and professional assessment. The goal of the Academy is to train new professional storytellers equipped to engage with their communities as storytellers as they help to document their stories, connect their communities, heal their traumas, and advocate for their rights and values.
