FOX 10 Anchor Ellen McNamara and Executive Producer Trenton Hooker spoke with Harvard professor Dr. Avi Loeb on FOX 10 Talks about new major developments on the massive interstellar object 3I/Atlas, noting that after its closest approach to the sun, it exhibited a surprising non-gravitational acceleration—meaning something other than gravity is pushing it—and turned an unusual blue color, yet the latest telescope images contradict the natural explanation because there is no massive, dusty cometary tail to be seen, leaving its true nature a complete mystery.

Dr. Loeb also detailed the compelling list of anomalies that point toward a potential technological origin: its large size and orbit in the plane of the planets, an unnatural shedding of nickel with very little iron, and the remarkable coincidence that its arrival direction is nearly identical to the enigmatic 1977 "Wow! Signal."

As 3I/Atlas speeds toward its closest point to Earth in December, Loeb is intensely focused on getting better data, stressing that while he supports congressional efforts, like those by Rep. Luna, to get transparency from AARO on UAPs and whistleblower claims, the most crucial step is deploying scientific instruments to definitively determine if this fast-moving, massive object is just an exotic rock or an advanced piece of technology.
