Austrian Alps hiking vlog – Stubai High Route in the Tyrolean Alps I traveled all the way to Fulpmes, Austria to hike the Stubai High Route — often called “the most beautiful alpine trail in Austria.”
This Day 1 vlog begins in the village of Fulpmes, where I took a gondola up to Kreuzjoch. From there, I followed the alpine ridge with sweeping views over the Stubai Valley and surrounding peaks, making my way to the Starkenburger Hut.
Perched at 2,237 meters (7,339 feet), the Starkenburger Hut offers a cozy atmosphere and breathtaking views of the Stubai Seven Summits. In this video, I give you a tour of the hut, share what dinner was like, and include a short side hike to Panorama Lake along the way.
