In this video, I take a look at a wireless ergonomic keyboard (ML313153) that was sold as broken due to a supposed power issue.
I bought it for 1 euro, expecting a repair — but after opening it and testing the electronics, I discovered that nothing was actually broken.
The problem turned out to be poor UI design that makes the keyboard look like it has a low-battery or power failure when the receiver is not connected.
This video shows how bad user interface decisions can confuse users, lead to unnecessary repairs, and even cause perfectly working products to be thrown away.
No parts replaced, no real repair — just diagnosis, testing, and a lesson in hardware UI design.
If you enjoy electronics teardown, troubleshooting, and real-world engineering lessons, this one’s for you.
