Seen at the Normandy Village Fete on Bank Holiday Monday 26th August 2013 was this wonderfully original side valve V twin AJS H1 combination with dickie seat side car. This outfit I was told has never been restored, just sprayed in oil. Laid up for over 40 years in a garden shed.This outfit runs well except for somewhat excessive oil consumption. I had great trouble in keeping the camera steady through laughter, the cloud of burnt oil was amazing, the worst I have ever witnessed in my life. I guess oil built up in the sump whilst it was standing during the afternoon.
