The immortal George Halas coached the 1963 Bears to an 11-win season including the NFL championship. QB Billy Wade, FB Rick Casares, WR Johnny Morris and TE Mike Ditka were the standouts on offense along with center Mike Pyle. The "Monsters of the Midway" defense were led by DL Doug Atkins and Stan Jones and LBs Bill George and Joe Fortunatio with DBs Richie Petitbon and Rosey Taylor.
