In this video we take a look at the current day operations of the former Boston & Maine Railroad Hillsboro branch which spans from Nashua, NH to Greenfield (Bennington), NH. Today the Hillsboro is served by two railroads, Pan Am Railways and the Milford-Bennington Railroad. Operations by PAR are operated once or twice a week up there branchline servicing Harcros Chemicals in Nashua, NH and Hendrix in Milford, NH. The Milford-Bennington Railroad is a shortline Railroad that “shuttles” heavy stone between the quarry in Milford (Granite State) and the quarry in Wilton, NH. M-B operations run Monday through Friday between the spring and late autumn seasons and can have a maximum of two to three runs a day between the two quarries.
