The STRDC Recital Vol. 04 : A PLACE CALLED HOME held at Fine Arts Theater, Jakarta Intercultural School on 28 June 2025. This recital that we produced explores the theme of “home” from different perspectives, while also sharing our studio’s journey throughout its 7 years of establishment, to keep pressing on in becoming a home for its dancers, choreographers, and society.

In solitude, I find my truest comfort. Away from the noise of expectations and the weight of conversation, I am free to exist without restraint. My thoughts wander where they please, unfiltered and unjudged. I can feel everything deeply or nothing at all, without the need to explain. In these quiet moments, I am both my own refuge and my own companion—fully present, fully myself. In a safe place, just like at home.
A dance piece inspired by the intricate workings of the brain and its neurotransmitters. Through movement, it embodies the flow of signals, the connection between neurons, and the balance of thoughts and emotions. The choreography captures the brain’s rhythms, from rapid impulses to moments of calm, turning invisible processes into an expressive, physical performance.
