I don’t feel like I need to say TOO much about how to write dialogue—for most people, writing dialogue comes easily compared to other parts of writing a novel. The things I’m going to talk about here are things I encounter a lot in novel writing and in editing a book, such as how to avoid using the word “said” over and over, how to give each character a unique voice, how to write dialogue when the character has an accent, and more.
