Indian Pulao Made Together as a Family — Real Moments, Real Flavor ❤️

This wasn’t just cooking — it was family time in its purest form.
Talking, laughing, arguing a little, fixing each other’s steps, and still moving together toward one dish: our Indian pulao in a cast-iron cauldron, made with rich cottonseed oil.

Everyone added something — a hand, a spice, a comment, an opinion.
That’s what made the flavor real.

You’ll see the cottonseed oil warming in the cast iron…
The onions turning golden…
The spices opening up…
The rice going in at exactly the right moment…
The slow simmer that fills the whole home with aroma…

And then — the most family moment of all:

The pulao turned out so good, and everyone got so hungry, that we completely forgot to film the final shot.
No plating. No staged serving.
Just real life: half the pot gone before we remembered the camera.
(Yes… we almost finished eating when I suddenly realized we missed the ending. That’s how you know the food was worth it.)

Recipe:
1. Heat cottonseed oil in a cast-iron cauldron.
2. Sauté onions until golden.
3. Add garlic, ginger, and spices (turmeric, cumin, coriander, chili, garam masala).
4. Add meat or vegetables.
5. Add rinsed basmati rice.
6. Cover with hot water or broth.
7. Salt to taste.
8. Cook on low heat until fluffy and aromatic.
9. Let it rest before serving — unless your family eats half of it first 😄
