Upgraded receiver hitch, hitch and ball on my 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Crew Cab LLY Duramax. Stock hitch was rated for a maximum of 7500 pounds. (non distribution) hitch tow. Removed the old hitch and installed a CURT Commercial Duty Rated for more than I'll ever tow. I needed to upgrade because the Carolina Classic 25 weighs in at alot more than 7500 pounds.
