The Diamond Roller Flour Mills Private Limited is the wheat processing unit situated at Kottayam, Kerala. Here quality wheat products such as Maida, Atta and Sooji are produced. These are used in Hotels, Bakeries and households in the making Bread, Biscuits, Cakes, Kuboos, Paratha, Chapathi and Halva.
Clean and hygienically built and maintained mill building and warehouses ensures utmost hygienic products. The water requirement is met from Rainwater Harvesting and modern filtration and treatment system .This ensures that the water used for the food industry complies with Food Safety Standards. Since wheat is not grown in the southern part of India, the mill initiated the process of building 12000 Metric Tonne of Steel silo storage to ensure continuous supply of quality raw material. This project is designed and supplied by Buhler AG, Switzerland and GSI, USA.

This is their strength and with the support of their esteemed customers Diamond Roller Flour Mills has been successful for the last 21 years.
In the year 2011, Diamond signed a contract with Buhler AG, Switzerland, a world leader in building flour mills to put up a state- of- the- art plant with a capacity 275 Metric Tonne per Day. This was the first flour mill in India to import the new generation equipment entirely from Europe. The plant was commissioned in February 2013 and from then onwards is producing top notch products in the state of Kerala. The advanced machines from Europe are made of food safe materials and also made to meet the stringent European Union norms in food safety and traceability. The complete plant is run on Wincos software provided by Buhler using Siemens PLC.
Carefully selected wheat grains are blended and thoroughly cleaned to remove all inherent impurities before milling them in to various end products like Maida, Semolina, Atta and Bran.
At each stage of the process, samples are drawn and checked for quality before packing in food safe bags. The by-product Bran goes to cattle feed industry.
The entire air from the plant is discharged into the atmosphere after going through high quality air jet filters to ensure no emission in to environment.
Starting from wheat receipt to final product packing is completely automated in such a way that the products are of highest quality and are untouched by human hands during the whole production process.
Fully trained and qualified persons at each stage of process ensure utmost purity and quality are delivered. Fully equipped laboratory compliments the state of the art production process plant in delivering pure and safe food to customers.
Diamond is one of the first flour mills that is certified for the Food Safety Management system under FSSC 22000-2011 by DNV.
