CHITRAKOOT : Chitrakoot is a pilgrimage centre and a nagar panchayat in the Satna district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. Connected to the Indian epic Ramayana, it is a place of religious, cultural, historical and archaeological importance, situated in the Baghelkhand region. It borders the Chitrakoot district in Uttar Pradesh, whose headquarters Chitrakoot Dham is located nearby. The city lies in the historical Chitrakoot region, which is divided between the present-day Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

GUPT GODAWARI : Gupta Godavari is situated 18 kms away from Chitrakoot. Legend has it that Lord Rama and Lakshmana stayed here for some time during their exile. The Gupt Godavari is a cave system within a cave, with knee-high water levels. The larger cave has two stone thrones that belong to Rama and Lakshmana.

RAM GHAT : Ram Ghat, which is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Uttar Pradesh, is believed to be the place where Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Lord Laxman held an elaborate conversation with Saint Goswami Tulsidas. This is a major reason why it occupies a special place in the hearts and minds of the people.

SATI ANISUIYA MANDIR : Sati Anusuya Ashram/temple is located about 18 km from Ramghat. it is a famous religious attraction in Chitrakoot for the Hindus and is regarded as one of the holiest places in the region. This place gets the importance from the fact that it served as an ashram to Maharishi Atreya who stayed along with his wife Anasuya.
KAMADGIRI MANDIR : Kamadgiri is the main holy place of Chitrakoot Dham .

SHPHATIK SHILA : normal rock on the riverside which is very smooth from the top is stated as being the one where once Sriram sat with Sita and Laxman and was making a garland of fresh flowers for her when Jayant, a son of Indra, came as a crow and pecked at her feet (breast as per the Valmiki Ramayan) Laxman despatched a blade of grass to kill him which followed him all the way the Indralok where Indra, his father also refused to save him.

SITA KI RASOI : Sita Ki Rasoi is believed to be the place where Sita cooked food for her family for the first time after her marriage to Lord Ram.

RAM MANDIR : The temple is common to other temples as far as the statues of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita and Lord Hanuman is concerned. What makes it different from the others is the complete prohibition on puja and offerings. Inside the temple, there is an artistic depiction of various events from the Hindu mythological epic, Ramayana.

HANUMAN DHARA : This place is called Hanuman Dhara because of a gentle stream which flows over the statue of Lord Hanuman. To the devotees, this is perhaps the most beautiful sight to come across. The statue of Bajrang Bali (another name for Lord Hanuman) has been built of red stone marble.
