This video is about my visit to Lakshmi Narasimmar swamy temple, Gumlapuram, on the 21st Aug 2021,this temple is situated in Thally taluk, Krishnagiri district, Tamilnadu.
Sri Lakshmi Narasimmar Swamy Temple, Gumlapuram is very ancient & historic temple.
During Dwapara Yuga when the Pancha Pandavas were in exile it was believed that Arjuna did the Prathistapana of Lord Narasimma & this place was called as KAILASHAPURI during Treta Yuga. It is believed that this temple was constructed within a day. There are four pillars in the temple that signifies four Vedas & each pillar has beautiful sculptures on it. This village is a unique region surrounded by 101 temples, 101Caves, 101wells, & 101lakes.
