To be a true Sikh, a student, a disciple, one must live like the dead. Just as a dead body is devoid of ego, a true disciple must surrender the self.

Sikha Di Bhagat Mala is a series of sakhis of prominent Gursikhs (whose names that are mentioned in Bhai Gurdas Ji Vaar 11) from the time of our Gurus. Bhai Mani Singh Ji Shaheed, with the blessings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji compiled these sakhis which has deep teachings that we can benefit from.
