🚀 In this video, I walk you through how to get started using MCP (Model Context Protocol) inside a self-hosted n8n instance — specifically hosted on Elestio. MCP unlocks powerful AI Agent workflows using standardized tools and functions.

We’ll cover everything from installing the MCP community node (n8n-nodes-mcp) to configuring the environment variable required on Elestio (https://elest.io) or Docker to enable community tool usage. Then we’ll build a live AI Agent flow using the Airbnb MCP server, and show how the agent can search for places to stay — all powered by the MCP protocol.
