Sorry for the poor qulaity at beginning but picture does settle down after a few minutes.
It started snowing heavily on Sunday 11th January 1987, non stop until the evening of Wednesday 14th. There were no trains or buses and no traffic on the roads. Meopham was cut off. It was only on the Friday that the main roads were drivable again and things gradually got back to normal.
