Season 1 Episode 5: Barbecue
As the guests gather at the barbecue, Sue Ellen introduces Ray and his girlfriend to the visiting senator. Bobby and Pam join the festivities and Lucy aims to have a good time. Bobby tells his buddies about Pam’s pregnancy. J.R. introduces Lucy to Susan who replaced Julie at Ewing Oil. J.R. asks Lucy to show Susan around. Lucy hints to Susan that J.R. never misses a trick. Miss Ellie and Digger are delighted to see each other again. Digger introduces Miss Ellie to his nephew Jimmy. Miss Ellie and Digger leave Jimmy to join the barbecue while they catch up on some things. Jimmy tells Pam that Digger is sober and is with Miss Ellie. Pam offers to show Jimmy around.
