Kelley's Berry Farm introduced direct to consumer blueberries in the middle Tennessee region in 1980. Jeff Poppen learns about the sustainable agriculture practices they use to keep their growing fields for strawberries, blackberries and blueberries in good tilth. This farm management includes winter and summer cover crops, liberal use of composted manure, integrated pest management, and crop rotation.
