Despite being each other’s biggest rivals, DC and Marvel haven’t quite ever been on par with each other. In the 2010s Marvel reached a higher peak of success and popularity than DC even has with a cinematic universe defined by it’s limitations. Marvel had everything holding it back, without access to it’s biggest teams or characters and succeeded. DC had everything going for it, not limitations and the most iconic comic book characters of all time but failed. What if it was the limitations that allowed for Marvel’s success and what if DC had the same limitations. That’s what I focused on in part 1 or this series and now, this is part 2.
