So...I mean....this game is....eh...
So....look. This gameis incredible in almost every way. They did more impressive visuals than Super Star Wars and they added a bit to the gameplay, too. On paper, this is one of the best games on the SNES.
Playing it, however...
This is a hard game. Not just hard, but unfair and unforgivingly hard most of the time. It's not like the previous game where you could just recharge after smacking a few enemies. This actually takes AWAY the healing abilities in some places. The hordes don't ever slow, either, and even when you do get breathing room in the form of health drops, you're usually paired with enemies that can spank you in a couple of hits. Or a boss that you have no chance of avoiding damage from. There is a password system, but even that only helps to a point. If there was a rebalancing of this game, it would easily be one of the best ever on the console. Don't play this on any mode other than easy. Normal is insanity.
