The second of the 2013 Semi Final's from Buxton Raceway11-8-13. Pole-sitter 84 Tom Harris lead the pack away, and looked on course to take a flag to flag victory. However, current World Champion 1/217 Lee Fairhurst who had tailed Harris the whole race had other ideas. In a text move, Fairhurst made his move, piling Harris into the turn3 armaco on the last lap of the race. Fairhurst took the win, netting himself a front row start as he prepares to defend his crown at Kings Lynn. Harris managed claim second place, but suffered extensive chassis damage which ruled him out for the rest of the meeting. 4 Dan Johnson took third, with 21 Mark Gilbank and 212 coming home fourth and fifth. Crowd favourite 53 John Lund failed to make the top ten places, and now has to try his luck in the Semi-Final Consolation race.
