Our First 72 Hours of Van Life in Scotland

After shipping our Canadian van all the way across the Atlantic, we’re finally starting our van life journey in the UK! 🚐✨ This week, we’re heading north into the breathtaking Scottish Highlands, with our ultimate goal: reaching the Isle of Skye. Known for its dramatic mountains, rugged coastline, and charming little towns, Skye is a must-see destination for anyone exploring Scotland.

The road trip isn’t without its challenges—between unexpected delays, traffic jams, and getting our van, Vangie set up for the British motorways, we’ve definitely had a few bumps along the way. But that’s all part of the adventure of van life in Scotland!

Along the journey, we’ll discover cozy cafes, take in some of the most scenic views in the Highlands, and even stumble into a few adventurous moments on the trail. From relaxing in our tiny home on wheels to hiking through jaw-dropping landscapes, we’re packing a lot into just 72 hours of van life.
