With the use of a box of discarded baby monitors found in the canyon Norm creates WNDL – the canyons first and only radio station. Despite her fear of public speaking, Sheila becomes a minor celebrity because of her rage and diatribes against Vernon. Things go well until she takes on Frida and Nalappat and soon the canyonites are taking sides and hostages. In the end, Norm enlists Stephane and makes use of his military past to free his wife.

While driving to their vacation, a family falls into a canyon and must learn to get on with their fellow stranded neighbours and, mostly, one another.
