The 2026 BMW iX xDrive60 is stepping into the spotlight as a powerful and efficient option in BMW’s updated electric SUV lineup. Positioned between the entry-level xDrive45 and the range-topping M70, the xDrive60 brings an impressive balance of performance, range, and luxury.

Under the hood, the xDrive60 delivers a notable 536 horsepower, which marks a 20-horsepower increase compared to the outgoing xDrive50 model. This upgraded powertrain translates to a 0-to-60-miles-per-hour acceleration time of just 4.5 seconds, giving drivers a thrilling experience behind the wheel. Additionally, the xDrive60 benefits from the latest advancements in BMW’s drivetrain technology, including silicon carbide semiconductors and a next-generation battery system.

The xDrive60 is equipped with a 113.4-kilowatt-hour usable battery capacity, offering an estimated range of 340 miles on a single charge. This improvement in range is partly due to a more efficient powertrain design and slightly larger batteries, ensuring fewer stops on long journeys.

For 2026, the BMW iX xDrive60 also features updated styling. The grille now has a cleaner, more streamlined appearance, complemented by redesigned headlights with vertical beams. Inside, the xDrive60 retains the luxury and technology BMW is known for, while optional upgrades like the M Sport package add an extra layer of sporty refinement. Deliveries start mid-2025.
