This is my earliest footage of steam on the Sierra out of Jamestown at Railtown 1897. It all begins at the beginning with my first visit to Railtown in 2010 with ex- Feather River Railway 3-Truck Shay 2 pulling the trains. Next up is the number 3 with whistle in full voice pulling trains along the line from 2011 - 2013, this was a time where using anything was operating and available to keep trains moving was used, as number 3, the smallest and weakest of the Jamestown fleet, had to do the job of the larger engines to keep steam alive in the roundhouse.
