LMS Stanier Black Five 4871 The Sherborne Christmas Carol 11th December 2018

Tuesday 11th December 2018 on this nice clear day but a bit cold.
The railway Touring Copmany have holding The Sherborne Christmas Carol tour, London Victoria to Yeovil Junction via Staines, Woking Basingstoke and Salisbury.
Today i filmed at 2 locations, and what battle of getting to them, because south western railway has been hit with serious of delays and cancellations due to signal fauire at Woking area.
My first location was Clapham Junction, manged to get there eventually with only half an hour to spare before 44871 was due which was good.
And then after I set up my tripod and camera had some jobsworth secutiry telling me i can't film there and stright away threatened me remove me from the station if I didn't stop what i was doing.
So I put my tripod away but sneakily took the camera out and filmed the locomotive hand held while she was approaching.

44871 was 3 minutes early and passed Clapham Junction at 08:59.

Then I head straight down to Salisbury which again was a nightmare to get down there as my train direct was cancelled so I had to get a train change at Basingstoke, after switching trains I arrived Salisbury just 16 minutes before 44871 was originally scheduled to arrive, but luckily for me she was running late due to traffic on the line.

She arrived at Salisbury at 12:04 28 minutes late, stopped for water for 12 minutes prior to her 29 minutes stop to what she had been given.
After receiving her water and getting the road 44871 was ready to go, she departed Salisbury at 12:16 11 minutes late!
