I spent years explaining myself. My boundaries. My needs. My autonomy. Trying to make my humanity easier for others to accept.
At some point, I realized I was fighting for my right to exist as a human being.
So I stopped explaining.
Some people couldn’t stay.
This isn’t advice.
It’s not a lesson.
It’s just the truth of what it cost me to stop abandoning myself.
