Today's daily update video from South Africa is on 18 August 2025. We begin today's video with an abnormal vehicle on the road near Delareyville. We visit the Red Desert in Port Edward, KZN. Walk on the beach at Pennington in South Africa today. Bettys Bay bushwalk near Main Beach and Bass Lake. Make tea at Bloemfontein Coffee Talks shop. Beautiful sunset at Abrams Crest Kelso along the South Coast, in the KZN Province. We stop along Clarence Drive near Rooi Els, and then more of South Africa.

On August 18, 2025, in South Africa this morning, there’s a foggy atmosphere in several regions, including the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Highveld, and KwaZulu-Natal. Some light drizzle is being noticed along the eastern escarpment, and there’s a chance of very isolated thunderstorms in parts of the Eastern Cape. Most areas are feeling mild temperatures, although it’s pretty warm in parts of the Cape Provinces and KZN Province, thanks to the berg winds. Additionally, certain spots in the Eastern Cape and in the Northern Cape Province are facing extremely high fire danger conditions.
