Saturday night's Who Wants To Be A Millionaire which with no warning or explanation (until two thirds through the way when Chris has changed suits and announces it still with no explanation) is 20 minutes longer than it normally is, there's confetti on the floor and Tarrant makes vague but noticeable references to 'the next million'. The truth to be revealed was stranger yet in fact it was the first story within 10 days to knock the New York terrorist attacks off the front page of any national tabloid. Of course this is that same episode in which Major Charles Ingram is completely omitted due to accusations of cheating which he was later found guilty of in a high profile trial of 2003.
