Visual Storytelling is a term we use to encompass character design, storyboarding, concept art, and illustration- while that's useful, there are fundamental tools and skills we can use to literally tell a story visually. A story isn't necessarily a complex web of lore and symbolism, usually it's simply about conveying an idea or feeling with an image.
