In this talk, Dr. Jeffrey J. Kripal—renowned scholar of religion and consciousness—explores the radical idea that mind and cosmos are two aspects of a single underlying reality. Kripal is the J. Newton Rayzor Professor of Religion and Associate Dean of the Humanities at Rice University. A leading voice in consciousness studies and the history of mysticism, he is the author of several influential books, including "The Flip: Epiphanies of Mind and the Future of Knowledge" and
"Authors of the Impossible". His work explores the intersections of science, spirituality, the paranormal, and the imagination—calling for a radical rethinking of human consciousness and its place in the cosmos. Dr. Kripal is also a co-director of the Esalen Center for Theory & Research and a prominent advocate for post-materialist approaches to knowledge.
