Short video with some tips how to install an Oil Pressure Gauge on a Land Rover Discovery 2.
Note: I did an engine swap. The new engine used in this video is from a P38. it is the same 4.6 engine but the P38 had an oil cooler. The 2003 D2 did not have an oil cooler. Because I chose to keep the oil cooler the only access hole to put the sensor was right under the alternator bracket.
The adaptor is a M12 x 1.5. this is the tread pattern for the engine cover location.
The sensor uses thread pattern 1/8 - 27
