Launch of Bus Services 451, 452 and 453

On 17 November 2025, Bus Services 451, 452 and 453 have been launched. Serving as limited-stop peak hour bus services, these bus routes aim to reduce the travel time for the final mile of the average commuter residing in these edge towns, namely Brickland and Tengah.
Service 451 is an enhancement to the former Service 991C, serving a larger catchment within Choa Chu Kang and providing a slightly faster commute towards Bukit Gombak MRT station and vice versa.
Service 452 can be seen as "Service 871X", where it aims to shorten the travel time between Tengah and Beauty World MRT station, allowing commuters to transfer to the Downtown Line without winding through Bukit Gombak.
Service 453 is akin to "Service 992X". It takes a slightly faster route between Tengah and Bukit Batok MRT station, eliminating the need for commuters to experience further boarding/alighting activities in Bukit Batok West.
