Laura Peña presented short-form poetry that can fit on a postcard. The poem can be about the image on the postcard or any subject. Postcard poetry can include themes and images or consist of centos from other poets’ works (with proper citations).
In addition to postcard poems, Laura presented a workshop on writing to images on tarot cards. Tarot cards can inspire poems, short stories, or other creative expression. Tarot card imagery presents meanings, interpretations, and reflections of an individual’s journey in life.
