In Celebration of Black History Month, WCM LIVE honors the rich history of our black communities throughout Horry County. Take a walk with us down memory lane with special guests who will share research and stories about black life in Horry County from the 1800’s to present. You may see some familiar faces from a catalog of Whittemore Elementary and High School alumni and business owners, educators, medical, and law enforcement firsts in Horry County black history. This show connects the past to the present from Racepath in Conway to Atlantic Beach, Bucksport, Burgess, and more!
Tuesday’s show features Marian Calder from the Horry County Museum, Dr. Preston McKever-Floyd, Rev. Cheryl Adamson, Deloris Rozier, and Priscilla Fuller.
