Mt. Kurodake Autumn Hike | Breathtaking Fall Colors【紅葉ハイキング】北海道 黒岳登山｜大雪山国立公園で絶景の秋を満喫！

I went hiking on Mt. Kurodake, located in the Sounkyo area of Daisetsuzan National Park!
This time I took the ropeway and lift straight up to the 7th station, then enjoyed a relaxing hike from there. As the altitude climbed, the air felt clearer, and near the summit the autumn colors were just beginning—bright reds and yellows made the scenery pop.

On the trail from Kurodake toward the Kurodake stone hut, I even got a glimpse of Ohachidaira Crater. Seeing that vast caldera, unique to the Daisetsuzan range, was really moving. Looking around, I was surrounded by iconic peaks like Hakuundake, Hokkaidake, and Mamiyadake—an incredible panoramic view that left me in awe.

The weather was perfect, with blue autumn skies and colorful foliage blending beautifully. Mt. Kurodake is also super accessible—thanks to the ropeway and lift, even those without much stamina can easily enjoy it. It’s truly an ideal mountain for fall hiking.

大雪山国立公園にある層雲峡の黒岳に登ってきました！
今回はロープウェイとリフトを使って一気に7合目まで上がり、そこからゆったりとハイキングを楽しむコース。標高が上がるにつれて空気が澄み渡り、山頂付近では紅葉がちょうど始まっていて、赤や黄色に色づいた景色がとても鮮やかでした。

黒岳から黒岳石室へと向かう道では、少しだけですが御鉢平が見えて感動！大雪山系ならではの広大なカルデラの雰囲気を垣間見ることができて、とても印象的でした。さらに周囲を見渡せば、白雲岳、北海岳、間宮岳など名だたる山々が堂々とそびえていて、スケールの大きな絶景に心を奪われました。

天気にも恵まれ、秋晴れの青空と紅葉が見事に調和して、本当に気持ちのいい登山日和。黒岳はアクセスもしやすく、ロープウェイとリフトで体力に自信がない人でも気軽に挑戦できるので、紅葉シーズンのハイキングにはぴったりの山だと思います。
