The Isabella Santos Foundation (ISF) is dedicated to improving both the quantity and quality of life for children battling rare cancers. Through its TORCH (Transformational Outcomes for Rare Cancer Heroes) Initiative, ISF funds cutting-edge research, treatment and survivorship programs across the Southeast.
One of its most forward-thinking efforts? Fertility preservation. In partnership with MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital in Charleston and Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, ISF is funding programs that help young cancer patients protect their future family-building options before treatment begins.
Intensive cancer treatments often result in infertility. ISF believes no child should have to sacrifice their dreams of having a family one day just because of their diagnosis.
