368. KNOCK-DOWN BRACE. Heard Patent. Patented in 1905 by George Heard of Painesville and manufactured by the E.S. Brace Co. of Niagara Falls, it can be completely disassembled for easy transport or the head and chuck can slide to change the sweep. Far and away the best example we've ever seen, nickel and rosewood head and grip absolutely flawless in the original wooden box. Appears never to have been used. Fine 400 - 800
