1952/53/54 Richard, 1954 Topps Howe, 2nd Year Béliveau, Sawchuk, Bower RC, 1958 Parkhurst Near Set +

Unlike most of the consignments we get from across Canada and parts of the United States, this collection was local. I met with the owner of these cards and after discussing the different options we offer, (outright purchase versus consignment), he chose the latter.

The cards in this collection are mostly low-grade, but throughout the run some are comparable to a PSA 3 or 4, including the 1954 Topps #8 Gordie Howe, and a very decent Maurice Richard from 1958.
There are several other cards of “The Rocket” including his second year 1952 Parkhurst card plus those from 1953 and 1954. The above mentioned "Mr. Hockey" is also featured on several other cards. The 1953 Parkhurst pile also includes 2nd year cards of Beliveau and Horton, along with a Lorne "Gump" Worsley RC. The Johnny Bower RC (#65) headlines the 1954 Parkhurst group with a sweet #1 Lumley and Tim Horton among those from 1955-56. A near set of 1958-59 Parkhurst hockey including an early Frank Mahovlich rounds out the hockey material. Baseball is represented by 1952 Topps including some high numbers as well as Ted Williams and other HOF'ers from the 1954 Topps set.
