Animating can be really difficult. So, why not cheat and code instead? With Godot, Unity, or any other game engine, the process is super simple. Rotate the sprite based on how far you travelled horizontally in the last frame. And just like that, your indie game will look good with minimal effort! You may want to go back and change the graphics later, but for now, you have a solid base.
