Andhra Pradesh artist creates Lord Krishna portrait using 72 miniature paintings

A unique portrait of Lord Krishna created using 72 miniature paintings has drawn attention in Andhra Pradesh. The artwork has been created by artist C. H. Srilakshmi from Ongole.

Titled Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, the single-canvas artwork narrates the entire life journey of Lord Krishna, from his childhood to the end of his earthly avatar, through intricately detailed miniature paintings that merge seamlessly into one portrait.

Srilakshmi said the idea behind the artwork was to visually narrate Krishna’s life in a way that allows viewers to recall the stories as if they were reading the Bharatam or the Bhagavad Gita. The artist added that special attention was paid to expressions and storytelling through imagery.

The painting has earned recognition from the Miracle World Records and the Telugu Book of World Records. Inspired by her father from a young age, Srilakshmi now hopes her work will gain wider global recognition.
